The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to locate your home.
1. IRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of a button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.
This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can pick up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with the next models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. We like the claim but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's a small price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.
As for the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move away whenever it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden from view and also cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong like low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.
You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's items that need to be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can also clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you can wish for. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.
The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.
Finally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to use it even if you're away from home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a set path.

Although these features are useful however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu located in the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
