This budget self-emptying robotic vacuum cleaner does an excellent job on low-pile carpet and hard flooring. It is also effective at cleaning dirt and debris that are embedded in mid-pile carpet. The IQ has a tiny footprint and also a self-emptying function. However, if you wish to alter the floor level on the map, or set no-go zones, you'll need to manually reset it in order to do so, which is quite an inconvenience.
The IQ app provides advanced mapping and automated functions, however it isn't equipped with no-go zones. They are only available on iRobot robots. Its smart-pathing navigational system results in superior maneuverability and its high-pile carpet mode cleans well, although it is prone to get caught up in rug tassels. In our tests, we observed that the IQ handled pet hair with ease. It was able to remove the majority of hair on floors that were not bare and a decent amount of medium-pile rug. It was less effective on shag carpets. It was unable to reach dirt and dust buried within the fibers. It was able navigate chair legs, small spaces and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was a little slower on bare floors however it soon recovered speed and performed better than the other robots we tried.
The IQ is a better option than the iRobot Roomba 694 for most uses. It has a larger dustbin, a longer battery life, and is better at navigating obstacles. It also comes with a mopping attachment that can tackle sticky mess. On the other side the iRobot is built better and has fewer parts that require maintenance or replacement and incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance, and can create virtual no-go zones using its companion app. It is able to even resume the cleaning process from where it left off if it is unable to recharge its battery prior to having completed the task. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice commands, which is a big plus for many users.
Eufy 11S
The eufy RoboVac 11S robot vacuum isn't one of the most features-rich models, but it offers excellent cleaning power for affordable prices. It's designed for those who don't need a complicated mapping system or an app to control the device. The robot can run for more than an hour and comes with an remote, cleaning tool, AC power adapter, charging base and extra filters.
The 11S is slim and sleek and has a tempered-glass upper deck that looks like brushed aluminum. It's a nice stylistic contrast to Roomba, Samsung, and Neato designs that are more practical and industrial.
In our tests, the eufy 11S was excellent at picking up larger debris and fine dust on hard flooring. However, it was unable to provide medium and high pile carpets a thorough clean. The device is prone to bump into furniture and people along its route. However, it is able detect obstacles using sensors. It ceases and emits a loud ring when it encounters an obstacle. Then, you can manually guide the device around it to restart it.
The BoostIQ mode is another fantastic feature of the Eufy11S. It allows you to set the robot up to automatically adjust the suction force based on the floor type and the level of dirt. The remote control makes it easy to direct the 11S to your desired area.
Single Room Mode is a great alternative if you have a small amount of furniture in the room you'd like to vacuum. The eufy will take 30 minutes cleaning the area that it is assigned to.

Its allergy-friendly design and air-sealed body traps allergens and keeps your family healthy. It has an onboard HEPA filter and self-emptying dustbin, so you won't need to purchase additional filters or a separate vacuum bag.
It's not as effective as more expensive models, but it's great for deep cleaning and taking on the toughest stains. It has two cameras on the front that deliver a live feed to your smartphone.
