The dust bin should last about 30 loads, which is about a month or two, and you'll have to replace the filter once in a while (which is actually recommended by iRobot). Our experience suggests that the iRobot S9+ doesn't get loud during operation which makes it a good choice for people who live with kids or pets.

The Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid vacuum and mopping machine is a fantastic option for those who live in a multi-floored home. The vacuum's 0.6l bin can hold a lot of pet hair. Its dual motors provide impressive cleaning power. The dustbin can be easily removed and emptied, which is great because you'll have to do this on a regular basis.
It's easy to set up as well, but I do recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid before running it for the first time. Install the Eufy Home application and follow the directions to connect it to your WiFi network. Once you've done this the app will help you to create a detailed map of your home. Like many robotic vacuums, the X8 Hybrid has some issues with floors that are not clean. It is prone to miss pet hair and other small items, and it tends to get into things, like its own charger on the charging base. It's not as quiet and the whirring sound can be distracting as other models.
Roborock V3S pro
This model doesn't have the same number of features as some of the more expensive models we've tested, but it does have the basics covered. It has a big dust bin that can hold a lot of dirt prior to needing to be empty. The vacuum and mop system is ideal for hard floors and carpets with low pile. It's also extremely quiet and we were able to watch TV while it was cleaning without feeling like it was blazing us with the sound.
Our test subjects were extremely impressed by how easy the machine was to use and set up. They also appreciated its ability to remove all the mess from their floors. It did a good job picking up pet hair, messes and carpeting however it was more difficult in getting rid of stains that were stubborn. The app was easy to use and intuitive. It was able to schedule the vacuum to clean on a regular basis to reduce the amount of manual work. The only downside is that it doesn't include any mapping technology or object avoidance, which means you can't send it to specific rooms or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundary strips are compatible).
Another model from iRobot's low-cost line which is the V3S Pro has some impressive features for the price. It was the get more info top robot vacuum we tested for mapping and avoiding obstacles. It's also the best budget option for those looking for an intelligent, self-emptying robotic vacuum that can handle hair and pet messes on hardwood floors or low-pile carpeting. It's also extremely quiet and comes with a large dust bin that can hold a lot before it's time to empty it.
The V3S Pro did not make it into our top choices lists from reliable sources that perform hands-on tests, but it received high marks from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. The V3S Pro was easy to use and set up, but the battery life was not long.
